SRINAGAR: Kuril Board Shri Amarnathji (SASB) has launched an online service for worshipers who cannot visit the Sacred Cave due to the Cancellation of the annual pilgrimage for the second year in a row due to the Pandemic Covid-19.
J & K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the Virtual Platform – Developed by the SASB and the National Informatics Center (J & K) – on Tuesday.
In this initiative, believers can now take advantage of Darshan, Hawan and Prasad facilities, the council said in an official statement.
The worshipers can order their Pooja online and the priest at the temple will offer the same thing in the name and Gotra used.
The worshipers can virtually watch the process and see gods through the Jio meeting.
Prasad will then be sent to Devotee’s house, said SASB CEO Nitishwar Kumar.
Services can be ordered through the official website of the Board – www.shriamarnihjishrine.com – and by clicking on the “Online Book Pooja / Hawan / Prasad” link.
The same thing can also be done by using the SASB cellular application that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
The cost for virtual pooja is Rs 1,100; Prasad ordering (along with 5G Amarnathji silver coins) is Rs 1,100; Booking Prasad (with 10g Silver Coin) is Rs 2,100 and Rs 5,100 for Hawan or a special combination of one of these services.
After the booking is complete, the SASB will share the link, the service date and time are placed on the registered cellphone number or e-mail ID from the worshiper.
SASB also launched a special channel on my Jio TV application where worshipers can get Darshan directly all the time, CEO added.
Previously, the board had placed a virtual mechanism and television to live Darshan morning and Aarti night from the holy cave.
