Amazon Business has announced the launch of the ‘Bill to Ship to’ feature that aims to provide opportunities for business customers with GST registration only in one country to claim tax credits for orders delivered throughout India.
The Amazon business customer who has Gstin registration for one or several countries but wants to get their delivery which is sent throughout the country now can easily use this feature and manage their indirect office expenses better.
Until now, Amazon’s business customers can get GST invoices only for orders sent to the situation where they have Gstin registration.
This causes customer discomfort as a billing address on the invoice equal to the shipping address and customer who does not have Gstin for the shipping address cannot claim GST input tax credit for the order.
The ‘Bill to Ship To’ feature aims to overcome the concerns of invoices to the business.
As long as customers have one Gstin in their business account, they will be able to get a GST invoice for all business orders they use the new address billing address that will be shown to them during the checkout workflow.
Commenting on the launch, Peter George, Director, Amazon Business said, “We understand the importance of GST credit for our customers and constantly work to improve their experience in the Amazon business market.
With the launch of the ‘bill to ship to’ feature, we have the lead in completing This unique customer problem and offers solutions that allow them to claim GST credit on their billing address for their Pan-Indian shipping.
This convenient feature allows customers to consolidate tax credits to one country and use GST credit more effectively.
