In the US, the e-commerce giant recently hosted its Prime Day sale and as part of the promotions offered $15 credit to users if they downloaded the Amazon Photos app.
“Eligible Amazon Prime customers who upload a photo for the first time to the Amazon Photos app are eligible for a $15 promotional credit off their first eligible order of $30 or more on Amazon.com,” explained Amazon in its terms and conditions.

(PT) June 30, 2021 and applied to an order over $30 of products sold by Amazon.com or Amazon Digital Services LLC.
Amazon Photos, is currently unavailable for users in India, but is expected to launch soon.
For its Prime members, Amazon offers free unlimited photo storage with 5GB of complementary video storage.
What is Google Photos’ new storage policy?Prior to June 1, 2021, Google offered unlimited storage for photos and videos in ‘high quality’ free of cost.
After June 1, these ‘high quality’ photos and videos are also now counted in 15GB storage that users get with their Google account, which also includes Gmail and Google Drive.
Photos saved in high-quality are compressed to save space.
High quality photos are all images that are larger than 16MP but need to get compressed to save space.
