Amazon India today announced the launch of ‘Amazon Day Delivery’ for all major members, giving them the choice to choose weekly delivery days for the items they buy throughout the week.
Customers can choose between free shipping prime or delivery of the Amazon day during checkout.
The main members can search for Amazon Day delivery options at checkout and choose the most suitable day for them.
Also, they can also change their Amazon day anytime to another day.
Customers can then order all week and get their items sent for free on their choice of days in a week.
‘Amazon Day’ also facilitates purchases to be grouped and delivered together resulting in fewer trips to customer locations, so the reduction of carbon emissions, claiming Amazon.
The company said that the shipping option was the only sustainability initiative to help achieve zero delivery, its global vision to make all Delivery of Amazon Net-Zero carbon, with 50% of all zero delivery in 2030.
