Ambala: Ambala district that has been placed in the red zone in Haryana reported 169 positive Covid-19 cases on Thursday.
Ambala reported 124 positive Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, 69 reported on Tuesday and 41 on Monday.
Among the 169 positive cases reported on Thursday, Ambala City reported 69, Ambala Cantonment 65, Chourmastpur 21, Mullana 9, Shahzadpur 3, and each of Barara and Naraingarh.
Previously, on Wednesday, Ambala also reported three positive cases of Omicron variants.
About the Omicron case, the civilian ambala Surgeon Dr.
Kuldeep Singh has said, “Three of Ambala City’s family reported positive for Omicron variants from Covid-19, including a 10-month-old girl, a woman (70) and a man (70)) .
A family member recently returned from Dublin, Ireland.
The three patients were stable.
“Dr.
Singh said the Ministry of Health visited 10,331 people against Covid-19 on Thursday.
Dr.
Singh said the Ambala district recovery rate was 96.70 percent and the mortality rate was 1.63 percent.
The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Ambala until Thursday was 30,703, including 510 people had died.
