BARABANKI: The Uttar Pradesh police has contested gangster-turned politician Mukhtar Ansari at Banda prison in connection with a case registered here on alleged fraud at enrollment of an undercover used to post him to some courtroom in Punjab, officials explained.
The case has been registered at Barabanki in April following the records of this ambulance were shown to be untrue, the UP police had mentioned afterward.
Superintendent of Police of Barabanki Yamuna Prasad stated on Friday a Special Investigation Team contested Ansari over two weeks where his connections with a few individuals in Barabanki came into light.
