Ghaziabad: Despite the symbolic strike for the last three days by ambulance workers, their demands have not been fulfilled.
From Monday, ambulance workers stopped the ambulance service completely in the state, Ghaziabad.
They demanded that they be employed under the National Health Mission (NHM) and get a salary increase.
Because of strikes, patients and servants must face discomfort on Monday.
Throughout the day, calls continue to come from the call center in Lucknow but only a handful of emergency calls attended.
On average around 300 calls are accepted in the district for ambulance services, including 100 emergencies every day.
Officials said there were no reports of unwanted incidents such as around 8-10 plying vehicles in the district and attended emergency calls.
Because there are no central places that can be reached, senior health officials warn the driver of an ambulance of action based on important service maintenance laws (ESMA).
A striking employee has been told to submit an ambulance key if they do not want to remove the vehicle.
However, there are no drivers who hand over the key to archiving this report.
The problem began after the contract was given to new companies to operate the ALS ambulance (advanced life support) in the state.
Ambulance drivers accuse that new companies recruit staff by replacing old employees.
To maintain the old staff, the company demanded a guarantee of RS 20,000.
Moreover, the salary also decreases.
Because of this, all ambulance drivers and medical technical assistants operating in the district have started an unlimited attack from Monday.
