Cuttack: Orissa High Court on Monday wasted all three written petitions that had challenged the validity of the amendments entered by the state government into several provisions of the Odisha University Law in 1989 in November 2020.
Amendment action 2020, which was notified in the Odisha Gazette and It came into force on September 4, 2020, enforced by the benches headed by Justice Chair S Muralidhar on Monday observed that changes made in the recruitment procedure for Chancellor and Teachers for various universities, were not incontstitutionil.
Bisabasu Dash, Carrier Office of the State Unit from all India saved the Education Committee, Panda Kunja and five other teachers from various Odisha universities and Ajit Kumar Mohanty, a national jNU man had challenged the actions of being supervised, where, where general respondents were state governments , UGC and trade union government.
While following the adjudication of the petition, in accordance with the HC notification, the state and UGC government has submitted information from fighting back.

In a 54-page assessment, the High Court argued that the amendments made in the original law in 1989 could not weaken the autonomy of the state university as claimed by the applicant.
The High Court also observed that the changes made in the recruitment procedure for Chancellor and other teaching staff were not manifested arbitrarily.
“Conflict on the name of the country that the amendment does not disburse the minimum standard for the appointment of VC, receiving acceptance”, the High Court was observed.
