When Etimes reached out to Him recently, and mentioned that the filmmaker Anurag Basu has revealed in a recent interview that he wanted to see the biopics made as soon as possible, Amit gave a hard answer and said, “First of all Some have the right to do so for films at Kishore Da.
The family will write the script and third will take a year, then we will decide on the casting director for it.
”
When we reminded Amit that the Binan Anurag had said in the past that he planned to make a film, he reacted and said, “Anurag Basu or Tom Dick and Harry can say anything, that does not mean to us.
The family makes a decision and we will decide who will be direct and we will produce films and maybe direct it too.
”
When coaxing a little more about which actors can play Kishore Kumar in biopics, the singer said, “We haven’t decided who will play and can’t talk about it now.”
It can be noted here that actor Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of the title in the film that has been planned by Anurag Basu in the life and time of Kishore Kumar.
But with the Ganguly family take the attitude of this company, someone wonders what will be a basu’s anurag plan about biopics.
