New Delhi: The Minister of Home Union Amit Shah on Monday led the National Security Strategy Conference (NSSC) through video conferencing to discuss the security situation in the country.
The Top Police Sources said all the General Directors of the State Police, Inspector General, elected field officers from the rank of police supervisors and Inspector General, Head of Central Police Forces, Intelligence Institutions and Police Organizations participated in this closed door conference.
Apart from this police official, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Head of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Arvind Kumar and other officials from IB, DGPS Bulk Guard BSF, ITBP, and SSB were also present at the NSSC along with the Directorate General of CRPF, said the source.
According to officials in security agents, during a meeting of security situations that apply in this country are being discussed and strategies will be engraved given the new challenges that emerge by threatening national security.
They also said that the Kashmir situation will be fully discussed after the killing of the individual recently from non-Kashmir in the valley and to discuss the possible counter-steps to prevent this attack effectively.
The Maoist rebellion in the country will also be part of the discussion, added the source.
