AHMEDABAD: Union home minister Amit Shah on Thursday virtually inaugurated nine clinical oxygen plants put up in government hospitals in various parts of Gujarat.
The plants have been installed with an NGO – based Vallabh Youth Organisation – in hospitals at Tilakvada, Sagbara, Ahmedabad (Sola civic ), Daskroi at Ahmedabad field, Kalavad, Kapadvanj, Bhanwad, Mehsana and Porbandar.
Shah, in his speech through video-conferencing, thanked the NGO for supplying the oxygen plants in these health care centers.
Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani also attended the digital role.
Medical oxygen was in high demand for Covid-19 patients through the next wave of this viral disease in the nation.
