PANAJI: The Minister of Home Union Amit Shah will make everyday visits to the cave that is bound on Sunday, where he is scheduled to overcome public meeting in a separate room in three assembly constituencies in the state, party officials said.
The selection of assemblies in Goa, where BJP is currently in power, will be held on February 14.
During his visit, Shah will discuss three public meetings – each in Ponda, Sanvordem, and Vasco Assembly, said the President of Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Saturday.
The Union Minister will discuss the first public meeting in Ponda at 4:30 p.m., followed by other events like that at Sanvordem at 6:30 a.m.
He will hold his last public meeting in Vasco at 8pm.
“The three public meetings will be held indoors with a capacity of 50 percent seating and all protocols related to Covid-19 will be followed during this event,” Tanavade said.
The last rally in Vasco will switch in 10 different assembly constituencies simultaneously, he added.
The party has deployed Ravi up, Ganesh Gaonkar and Daji Salkar from the constituency of Ponda, Sanvordem and Vasco.
This is the first public meeting in the state to be handled by any BJP star campaign since the Indian Election Commission (ECI) announced a schedule of assembly polls in five states earlier this month.
BJP has lowered candidates from all 40 assembly constituencies in Goa.
ECI has last week to extend a physical ban and roadshow until January 31 in five polls, but allows public meetings with a maximum of 500 people in constituencies where selection will be held in the first phase.
However, it provides relaxation for political parties to hold indoor meetings a maximum of 300 people or 50 percent of the capacity of the hall.
