Amravati: Opposing the State Government’s decision to allow sales of wine in supermarkets, BJP members here open symbolic grocery stores in Rajkamal Square on Monday and sell wine in protests, the songs of the slogans to the MVA government on Monday.
BJP activist, led by the National Secretary General of Bhartiya Kisan Morcha Dr.
Anil Bonde, spokesman for Shivrai Kulkarni, Head of the Kiran Paturkar City Unit and Mayor of Chetan Gawande, gathered in the room at Rajkamal Square in the morning.
Party members accused that the Thackeray government made the country as “alcoholic addicts”.
Kulkarni said that under his work protected the interests of farmers, the government had tried to serve the interests of lobbying liquor and itself.
Police detained BJP leaders and activists.
