Amravati: Three scientists from various universities in the districts work together on research projects and have been awarded Indian patents for their research on rechargeable batteries.
Profesor Dr.
Vijaya Sangawah from the Department of Physics in the Government of Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities, Professor Dr.
Shitital Bhad from SMT Narmma Arts, Commerce and Science College, and Professor Roshani Bhagat from Rajarshi Shahu Science College, Chandur Railway, has been a patent for research titled ‘Rhodaming Dye DOPED PVA / KSCN reversible, polymer Sustainable Electrolyte & its synthesis process’.
This is the third patent in the name of Sangaw.
Research on rechargeable batteries is taking place throughout the world but the success needed in this field is not achieved.
Dr.
Vijaya Sangaw decided to invest the time in this field.
Research students Bhad and Bhagat began research in 2009 under the guidance of Sangaw.
After success in this study, they submitted a patent in 2019.
After obeying comments raised by the patent office, patents were given on August 24.
In this study, Rhodamine and Tiosynet potassium dyes were mixed in the right percentage with polyvinyl alcohol polymer and gel prepared by a very simple process at a low cost.
This gel conductivity was examined and studied scientifically for nine years.
Even after 9 years, gel conductivity is checked and verified.
This research observed that there were no changes in this gel conductivity.
It remains constant.
Therefore research proves that this gel capacity is nine years and can be reversed with its original condition with a very simple process.
Therefore, this gel can be used effectively in rechargeable batteries, because it improves the quality and life span of the battery.
