Amravati: Moving towards normal, the police on Friday announced relaxation of nine hours at night at 9 am on Saturday.
The night had been put in place after clashes during protests for alleged disinfision of the holy book in Tripura.
Will continue to be a night at night from 6pm to Saturday to 9 in the morning, said Aarti Singh, said the police commissioner.
On Friday, the city reported no violence for sixth day since November 13.
The process of identifying and capturing the defendant is underway.
The police have so far arrested 298 people, including 20 captured on Friday.
The number of violations has risen from 35 to 53, a police officer said.
The police have also prepared social media monitoring cells to keep the watch close to posts that appear on various social media platforms.
Singh urged group administrators to ensure that there are no provocative posts, fake messages or rumors that will threaten the law and order, or provoke people, circulated in their group by their members.
“All such posts are prohibited under the laws and violations of Maharashtra police underneath 140 MP Law and Section 505, 295 (a), 153 and 153 (a) will be registered against the concerned,” command words.
Even though the curfew during the day has been relaxed, there is no clarity in what business sequence will be able to open their store on Saturday.
