Amrit Mahotsav Cycle Rally Leaves to Delhi

Kolkata: Commemorating the celebration of the 75th Independence Day (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav), a 3,000 km cycle rally from Shillong to New Delhi organized by Assam rifle marked from Kolkata while continuing March to Delhi.
Rally has begun on September 5 from Shillong with the motto to touch important places related to the Indian freedom movement finally peaking in Raj Ghat, New Delhi on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at 2.
Cyclist has reached Kolkata on Saturday, September 11 Nabagram in Bengal .
On Sunday, under the “Fit India Movement” Yoga program is held at the NCC Club House in Kolkata.
This was followed by a tree plantation drive under the theme “Green India Mission”.
The team cycle rally also visited Victoria Memorial among other historical places related to the struggle for the nation’s freedom.
The rally was marked from Fort William in Kolkata with Sub Bengal Goc diving, Satbir Singh’s main general, who was also the Deputy Inspector General Assam Rifles North.
The ceremony of the heritage included the display of pipe ribbons and villains from 14 fighter freedom.
