Amritsar: Kin of Martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, various agricultural and social organizations and AAP leaders held protests on Tuesday to renovating monuments, distributing them as “historical distortions”.
They also demanded an investigation into the work of the National Warning Development of Rs 20 Crore.
Federation member of the Federation of Freedom of Bagh Jallianwala, Dishh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahn and the leader AAP, who participated in protest, said that places like Jallianwala Bagh had never been renovated but preserved.
