ALIGARH: Pupils Mohammad Umar Afzal, Anha Rahat Khan and Afifa Fatima won an online poster making contest in Abdullah School organised by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to apply the nationally’Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Grab the Rain, in which it drops as it drops campaign. This effort was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for conservation of water and also for addressing the challenges of this growing water crisis.
Composing and slogan writing contests were stored at the digital mode on’World Water Day’ based on the Indian authorities regulations on social distancing to suppress the spread of Covid-19.
“The effort stinks knowledge on water conservation among college pupils through their active involvement. It helps create rainwater harvesting structures in the grassroots level,” explained Umra Zaheer, Superintendent,” Abdullah School.
