Amu students held a march protest on campus

Agra: A large number of Muslim female students of Aligarh University (AMU), wearing a headscarf, come out to support students who protest the hijab line in Karnataka and hold a protest parade on the university campus on Friday.
Male students also gather on campus for protests.
They dub controversy as “planned”.
“If they try to target this again, then we will block the streets in Aligarh,” said the students.
A student who protested, Tanveer Fatima, said that the current protest was proving that wearing a hijab was their democratic rights.
“We have the freedom to wear anything and it includes a hijab too,” he said.
“Muslim girls have been wearing a hijab for centuries in this country and there is nothing wrong in it.
