Chandigarh: Responding to the main urgent request Amarinder Amarinder for more vaccine equipment remembering the upcoming festival season and 26 cases of late late for the second covishield shots, the Minister of Union’s Welfare and the Welfare of the Family Welfare on Wednesday ordered an increase in Punjab allocation directly by 25% .
Amarinder has been, during the meeting with the Union Minister, looking for a supply of 55 covid vaccine doses in priority for his country.
Mandaviya assured Amarinder from all assistance in this matter and said that while the supply would subside from next month, he would meet the country’s requirements on October 31 and order the department to immediately increase the allocation of punjab to meet the need for urgent.
The minister’s chairman said with sufficient supply, the state government could arrange to vaccinate 5-7 lakh people every day.
He showed that the vaccine allocation for Punjab for August currently only reached 20,47,060 covishield doses, while around 26 LAC doses were needed only for those with the second dose was too late.
Quoting data, the minister’s chairman said the Punjab had a relatively very lack of vaccine allocation (and therefore per capita vaccination was very low) compared to other countries and needed to be increased to cover more population and following the other.
He urged the Minister to ensure equipment directly from Covishield and Covaxin.
On August 7, 2021, vaccination per capita Haryana was at 35.2, Delhi at 39.4, J & K at 43.7, Himachal Pradesh at 62.0 and Rajasthan at 35.1, compared to Punjab.
The minister’s chairman observed that Punjab had, until August 7, only received 1,00,73,821 doses, such as against Haryana (1,27,94,804), Delhi (1,06,79,728), J & K (66,90,063), Himachal Pradesh (55.51,177) and Rajasthan (34,954,868).
First Minister further look for access to the state to the Cowin portal for analytical purposes.
The mass medicine park in Bathindaaminder also urged Mandaviya for a very good Punjab request to prepare a mass medicine park in Bathinda in response to the Pharmacy Department, Ministry of Chemistry and Fertilizer.
The state government has been implemented in October 2020 to establish a park on a land above 1320 acres in Bathinda, with the Council of Ministers approve interesting incentives for the same, more DAP shares for punjabduring meetings with the Union Minister, who holds the portfolio of additional chemicals and Fertilizer, Amarinder also reaffirmed his government’s request to increase the allocation of the stock in Punjab, according to the demand revised by the state.
Suppliers must be directed to ensure that the adequate supply is given on schedule, he told the minister, reiterating the points he had submitted yesterday in this case during his meeting with the Minister of News Home Amit Shah.
