Bayselling Mytho-Fiction Author Anand Neelakanan recently shared that he was working on a new mythological drama film ‘Karna’.
The author wrote with stories and scenarios with the Mehra Rakeysh Mehra filmmaker.
‘Kararna’ will display Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor in the main role.
Kararna, son of Lord Surya and Kunti, is one of the main characters in the Hindu epic ‘Mahabharata’.
Even though he was a half brother of the Pandavas, he fought against the Great War to support Kaurus.
It is said that Mehra, who will also direct the film, plans to give a contemporary touch to mythological drama.
This film is expected to be shot in early 2022 and released in 2023.
Meanwhile, books Anand Neelakanan and Rakeysh Oomrakash Mehra released this month! While the new nekelastan book is ‘Valmiki’ woman who tells the stories of five unforgettable women from ‘Ramayana’, Mehra’s memoir titled ‘The Stranger in the Mirror’ also released in July 2021.
