Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday changed the name ‘Telugu Academy’ to ‘Telugu and Sanskrit Academy.’
The state government has published 4 government orders (go) today in this matter.

Go Number 32 Includes Secretary Secretary / Primary Secretary / Presidential Secretary of the Government, the Department of School Education in the composition of the Telugu and Sanskrit Academy Agency as an Ex-Officio member.
Through Go Number 33, the state government appointed Professor V Muralidhara Sharma, Deputy Kanskrit, Sanskrit National University, Tirupati as a candidate for the Grants University (UGC) Commission at the Academic Governor Board.
Through G.O number 34, four people have been nominated to the Academy Government Agency.
They Areprofessor D Bhaskar Reddy, Retired Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Sri Venkateswara, Tirupati, Dr.
Rajakumar Nerella, Ph.D (Astrology), Astro Counselor and Teacher in Astrology, Dr.
M Vijayasree, Associate Professor (Retd) in Telugu, and DR Kappaganthu Ramakrishna, Ph.D, lecturer in Telugu.
Congress Party Yuvajana Sramika Rythu (YSRCP) led the decision of the Government of the Government of Andhra Pradesh to remove Telugu media and made all government schools as English secondary schools had caused a lot of debate.

The head of the Jana Party Sena Pawan Kalyan questioned what the benefits of changing the academy’s name.
In a statement, he said that the government’s decision was disappointing for Telugu’s lovers.
“Why does his name suddenly change and hurry?” He asked.
“The name changes in such a way that the identity and basic objectives of the academy itself is disrupted.
If the government wants to develop Sanskrit, it will form Sanskrit Academy separately,” his advice.
