VisakHapatnam: School Education & Monitoring Commission Andhra Pradesh has a fixed cost structure for junior schools and colleges in the state for a block period from 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24.
The Ministry of Education released two separate orders on Tuesday.
In schools located at Gram Panchayats, the maximum average cost that can be billed is 10,000 per year for elementary schools, and Rs 12,000 per year for high school.
In schools located in cities, the maximum average cost that can be billed is Rs 11,000 per year for elementary schools, and Rs 15,000 per year for high school.
In schools located in the city corporation, the maximum average cost that can be billed is Rs 12,000 per year for elementary schools, and Rs.18,000 per year for high school.

In Junior Higher Education located at Panchayats, a collection of maximum costs is Rs 15,000 per year for MPC and BIPC groups, and Rs 12,000 per year for non-science and non-mathematic groups such as CEC and HEC.
In Junior Higher Education located in cities, a collection of maximum costs is Rs 17,500 per year for MPC and BIPC groups, and Rs 15,000 per year for groups such as CEC and HEC.
In Junior Higher Education located in the city corporation, the maximum cost that can be billed is Rs 20,000 per year for MPC and BIPC groups, and Rs.18,000 per year for CEC and HEC.
These costs include tuition fees, prospectuses and registration fees, cost of receipt, inspection costs, laboratory costs, sports costs, computer laboratory costs, library costs, extracurricular activities, student welfare funds, student health care schemes, tours, alumni, and similar costs more related to academics.
A student is expected to pay optional cost components such as transportation costs, hostel costs (lodging fees and lodging) if he chooses for the same thing.
