Speaking to TOI, Gitam Deemed-to-be University vice-chancellor Prof K Sivaramakrishna stated Gitam and some other engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh are employing a specific proctoring platform to run online examinations. “Along with this, we’re also providing remote accessibility to our own labs to attend technical assessments. The almost 14,000 pupils of Gitam, that are living in various countries of the nation, are looking for examinations with no difficulty,” explained Prof Sivaramakrishna.

Vice-principal and dean, Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology, Dr K Madhusudhana Rao, said that the institute ran the mid examinations by utilizing proctoring program. “Many IT firms and other businesses are running campus placement evaluations and interviews by their very own proctoring tools. The pupils are taking other examinations in virtual style. But some worldwide online course suppliers are running their examinations through task-based evaluations rather than virtual proctored-based tests,” explained Dr Rao.
