Amaravati: School in Andhra Pradesh will be opened for the academic year 2021-22 on August 16, the state government announced on Friday.
The decision to reopen the school, was delayed because the second wave of Covid-19 was ongoing, taken at a high-level meeting chaired by the chairman of the Minister Y s Jagan Mohan Reddy.
CMO release said the government would also come out with detailed guidelines on August 16 concerning the implementation of new education policies – 2020.
The main minister will dedicate to people, government schools updated under the first phase of the Nadu-Nedu program and also launched the second phase work on August 16.

The school classification into six categories of PP-1 to class 12 will be carried out according to the NEP-2020.
Existing streamwadists will be converted into satellite elementary schools, covering every residence, said CMO release.
The minister’s chairman directed the Ministry of Education officials to spell clearly to all who matter why they shifted to NEP-2020.
“Making extensive awareness, especially among parents, for the benefits of NEP-2020.
There should be no room for doubts or worries,” said Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He said the state government would spend 16,000 crore rs to implement NEP-2020.
This will rejuvenate the education system, he added.
The government also decided to provide value to class X students, which was declared to have passed in 2020 and 2021, because the final inspection could not be done because of the Coronavirus outbreak.
While 70 percent shooting will be given to the SLIP test, 30 percent will be for formative assessment to provide the final value.
The class will be given according to the sign, the official of the school education department told the minister’s chairman.
