Hyderabad: Students from Andhra Pradesh have secured first and second ranks in the stream of Telangana engineering and medical entrance tests (TS Eamcet 2021) held this year.
Sathya Karthikea from West Godavari and G.
Venkata Pranish from Kadapa at Andhra Pradesh pocketed first and second ranked each.
Muqeet Abdul Mohammed from Hyderabad secured third place.

Karthikeya from Hyderabad pocketed first rank.
Emani Srinija from Ranga Reddy District and T.
Sai Kaushal Reddy from Hyderabad each secured second and third ranked.
The minister said 85.70 percent of students qualified the entrance test in both streams.
In 2020, the percentage pass was 75.29 percent.
A total of 28,000 students took another EAMCET exam compared to 2020, Sabitha Indra Reddy added.
As many as 1,21,480 candidates meet the examination terms in the engineering stream and 73,070 candidates in the agricultural and medical flow (pharmacy).
The percentage pass in the technical stream is 82.08 percent when the A & M flow of 98.48 percent of students meet the exam requirements.
Nearly 2.5 lakh students have appeared for the Eamcet exam done early August.
While the test for engineering flow was carried out on August 4, 5 and 6, the exam for agriculture & medical flow was held on August 9 and 10.
Computer-based checks were held at 99 centers.
Every year, 25 percent shooting is given to performance in the 12th Council exam but this year the results are stated based on the sign obtained only in the entrance test.
The minister congratulated officials to carry out tests in a smooth way and on schedule despite having difficulty because Covid-19.
