A few months ago, Microsoft began launching an Amazon application store that allows users to run an Android application on the Windows 11 operating system.
This feature is only available for users who are part of the Insider Windows beta channel.
Now, the company has also launched the App Store for users who register on the Insider Window release preview channel.
This means Microsoft can release features for all users who meet the immediate requirements.
The ability of the new operating system to run Android applications was first disclosed by the company in June last year.
Microsoft has partnered with Amazon and popular application developers to reduce 50 applications for Windows inciders to test and validate in a broad set of hardware.
If you want to try an Android application on Windows 11, you must join the Windows Insider program.
You also need to set up your PC area to the United States and to access the Amazon App Store, you need an Amazon account based in the US.
Apart from this, you also have to remember some system requirements besides basic Windows 11 requirements.
According to Microsoft, your PC needs to have at least 8GB of RAM, SSD along with the 8th generation Intel Core i3, AMD Ryzen 3000 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8C processor or higher .
If you are not part of Windows Insider, you can run an Android application on Windows 11 through Windows Subsystem for Android.
The company claims that running Android applications and games on Windows 11 will feel familiar and you can easily run this application side by side with the help of the new layout feature.
You can also emit it to the start menu or taskbar and interact with them through the mouse, touch or pen input.
The Android application is also integrated into Alt + Tab and the task view to quickly move back and forth between the most widely used applications.
You can see notifications from the Android Application notification at the Action Center or share your clipboard between Windows applications and Android applications.
Google has also started launching the Google Play Games application for Windows.
This application will allow users to play Android games directly on their PC.
Until now, this application is limited to beta users in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan, but it is expected that the company will release applications for more users in the coming months.
