New Delhi: Score of Workers Affairs Handers protested outside the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday to demand an increase in wages and recognition as Covid-19 frontline workers.
The Delegation of the Workers of the Anganwadi was escorted by the police to meet the minister of the development of women and children of Rajendra Pal Gautam.
“We want wage increases.
We have worked hard during a pandemic and some of us have even been infected.
We want to recognize as a frontline worker,” said a protester.
