Gurgaon: Angganwadis in the Faridabad District will now act as a legal aid center for women and children to bring legal assistance closer to the house.
Launched as a pilot project in this district, initiatives can be replicated throughout the state, officials said.
Manglesh Kumar Choubey, Head of Judge Judge-Cum-Secretary of the District Law District (DLSA) Faridabad, said that Anganwadis in the Regency had been directed to notify the authority of any legal issues (0129-2261898).
Previously, legal complaints had to be transferred to the “one-stop center” that worked in the place of Faridabad civil hospital, but in many cases, the victim did not reach the centers.
DLSA will coordinate with advocate panels, NGOs, AngerWadis and one-stop center.
Faridabad DLSA, meanwhile, has also started the “Faridabad children’s beggar” scheme in coordination with NGOs.
“Each specialty police officer (SJPO) is bound to BEA to help the DLSA team in the rehabilitation of these children.
Non-cooperation from any police station in this case on unfair land …
will amount to conspire with perpetrators of cruel crimes This, “Choubey said.
