New Delhi: Former Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh has been returned to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to hold until November 15 due to alleged money laundering cases.
Ed had caught Deshmukh last week.
Special vacation trials on November 6 have sent NCP leaders for custody of the judiciary after rejecting an ED’s request to find an extension of his detention.
However, one day later, the Bombay High Court ruled out the high court order and sent Deshmukh in Ed Remand until 12 November.

Opposing a further extension of the ED REMAND on Friday, Lawyer Deshmukh said that the agency had agreed to the high court order until November 12, and it was binding.
He called looking for further detention “deception” which was unfair to keep Dishmukh in custody.
PMLA Court Hak HS Sathbhai, after hearing the argument, extending Dishmukh prisoners until November 15.
In related development, the Mumbai session court was postponed until November 20.
