Mumbai: Former Minister of Houses Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh politically motivated and intended to defame the image of the leaders of the Government of Maha Vikas Aghadi, said NCP spokesman Nawab Malik on Tuesday.
Hit in the center, Malik, a minister in Maharashtra’s government, said the scary leaders by misusing the power must be stopped.
“All actions (capturing Dishmukh) are politically motivated.
It aims to scare the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi (Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress Alliance),” Malik told reporters.
Deshmukh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) late on Monday night after more than 12 hours questioning money laundering cases related to alleged extortion racqulers in the establishment of state police.
Meanwhile, welcoming Deshmukh’s arrest, former MP BJP Kirit Somaiya said Minister of Shiv Sena Anil Paratab would be the face of the face next to the central body.
Somaiya, who has been asked to appear in front of the Bombay High Court on December 23 in the 100-Crore RS deficiency setting submitted by Puriab, said, “Now we will know where RS 100 Crore is collected by Deshmukh.” Somaiya has claimed that Parab, Minister of Transportation State, conducted the construction of the Seaside Resort in Ratnagiri District without approval from the Department of Environment.
