Navi Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) accelerates 15 plots in Dhutum Village, Uran Taluka, purchased through transactions by the son of the former Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh as part of his investigation into money laundering cases.
TII-owned documents show that land parcels are purchased on behalf of the Premier Port Link Pvt Ltd, where Salil Deshmukh has controlling shares.
Collectively, the land of 8.3 hectares worth around RS 300 Crore is located a stone’s throw from NH 348 Palaspe Phata to JNPT.

ED source has found that Salil has a controlling interest in the company.
Email and text messages sent to Anil Deshmukh do not get any response until the time of pressing.
As per the note with this newspaper, land parcel transactions were made between 2006 and 2015.
TOI visited the place and found that various plots side by side were bought, and they now form a comparable single without limits.
These land are in Dhutum Village below the boundary of Talathi, Uran Tehsil.
“The plot is sold to Anil Deshmukh and his family members.
It is registered on the company name (Port Premier Pvt Ltd).
A number of farmers have sold their land and mostly get cash payments,” said Chandrabhaga Patil, relatives of Freedom Fighter Ramdassheth Thakur.
“Many farmers have sold their small land to Desehmukh,” said Km Thakur, a resident of Dhutum Village.
