Anil VIJ suspended SE, MCG engineer announced a pentown strike

Gurgaon: The day after MCG Superintending Engineer (SE) Ramesh Sharma was temporarily released from his responsibility for alleged violations with the mayor, Haryana Home and the local urban minister of Anil VIJ suspended him on Wednesday.
The decision was taken at a meeting after the mayor and several council members met the Minister and filed a written complaint against SE.
However, with this decision, the battle line has been withdrawn between selected representatives and MCG employees.
MCG engineering wing officials and other staff have decided to do Pentown strikes on Thursday.
They also threatened to be a total strike from September 10 if the suspension order was not pulled.
“The mayors told me that when he searched for answers to certain questions from SE who cared at the meeting on September 6, he had walked out rather than giving an answer.
This is a serious problem and home insult.
I have issued a suspension command with a direct effect , “Vij told reporters in Gurgaon.
In a written complaint to the minister, Mayor Madhu Azad claimed that, on September 3, he asked SE to visit the site at Ward Number 22 to resolve the overflowing sewer issue.
SE did not visit the site and when the mayor asked him almost the same at Monday’s meeting, a broken argument and Sharma walked out.
“After I complained against SE and was taken to VIJ notice that Sharma behaved badly with me at the meeting and did not obey my orders, the minister ordered his suspension.
He also said that all officials must maintain the dignity of the Mayor’s seat and that it was wrong to just leave the meeting The mayor still holds the same, “said Mayor toi.
When contacted, SE said that he was not given the opportunity to present his case.
“My suspension decision was unfair because I was not heard.
I can’t visit the site when I went to attend a meeting managed by the GMDA CEO that day,” he said.
However, as soon as the sequential order was issued, the MCG Engineering Department staff, The Gurgaon Engineering Technication Association (Geta) and other MCG employees gathered at the MCG office and decided to strike a pen-down on Thursday.
“Only emergency services such as water and sewerage will operate on Thursday and there is no office work to be carried out.
If the suspension order is not pulled, we will strike starting September 10,” said Praveen Kumar, President of Geta.
“About 15 days ago, about 10 to 15 board members came to my office and threw a violation to me.
The majority of them are the husband of the council.
We were ridiculed by the council members and the mayor’s son at the meeting, and this was not an example like first, “The Chief Engineer said Thakur Lal Sharma.
