Animal Body Identifies seven priority fields

Chennai: More than 1,000 animal protection activists, organizations and animal lovers gather to highlight the main problems that require immediate attention on two Indian days for an animal conference (IFA) 2022, held on January 29 and 30.
It was organized by the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organizations (FAPO), in relation to believing dogs throughout the world.
This is the fourth edition of the conference, which is held virtually for the first time due to limitations related to pandemic.
The conference identifies seven priority areas where the government needs to act immediately, for animal welfare, and because of the urgent need to fight the global impact seen from climate change.
They are: ~ In priority, the level of prevention of atrocities against the animal amendment bill and introducing strict punishment in cases of cruelty towards animals.
~ Concrete increase in housing conditions, transportation and chicken slaughter, including the end to the battery cage.
~ Clear policies and regulatory frameworks to regulate agriculture aquaculture and improve fish life.
~ Strict implementation of the rules and actions of deductions on illegal meat shops.
~ Adoption of welfare steps to improve the condition of cattle and buffalo in milk.
~ There is no dilution of part 43 of the Wild Life Act (protection), which allows elephant sales.
~ Extensive recognition that adopting a very important vegetable eating pattern of animal perspectives, human health, and climate change.
“On behalf of the animal protection community, FAPO sent a resolution based on seven priority areas identified in India for the 2022 animal conference to the government, looking for direct actions and collaboration between the government, animal protection organizations,” said Bharati Ramachandran, CEO Fiapo.
On the opening day, the main speaker Dr.
Peter Singer -Philosopher and an animal release writer, who recently won a group of merging – setting tones with lectures on species, which stated that animal use, especially in intensive agricultural systems, morally.
It cannot be maintained, from animal rights, climate change and a pandemic perspective.
Various speakers – including Dr.
Manilal Valliyate, Indian map CEO; Alokparna Sengupta, Managing Director of the Humane Society International / India; Gauri Maulechi, trustee for animals; Shreya Paropkari, a senior manager at Humane Society International / India – highlights terrible conditions that mark animal agriculture, from selection of properties, housing, drug use, transportation and massacre.
Dr.
Yamini Narayanan, a senior researcher & lecturer at Deakin-Australia University, talks about hens that are locked up to be exploited for their reproductive organs.
Dr.
Soutsh Rao, Founder and Executive Director of Healers Climate, talked about an undeniable role of the animal agriculture industry in the revival of pandemic, climate disaster, and termination of global industrial civilization of nature.
The conference highlights the suffering of animals in captivity, in particular, elephants.
Exclusive screening Film Long features, ‘gods in the shackles’, by the award-winning filmmaker Sangita Iyer, revealing the exploitation of elephants used in the temple and for celebrations in Kerala.
This conference concludes by respecting individuals and organizations to carry out animal protection work and encourage them to help them grow and strengthen their efforts.
Fiapo has also announced the media fellowship to promote the scope of focused stories in animals in mainstream media.
