After a performance-oriented film like ‘Sarbjit’ and ‘Haseena Parkar’, Ankur Bhatia marked his digital debut with the Thriller ‘Aarya’ film, where he played Sushmita Sen’s Saudary.
Recently, the event completed a one-year release, and now the team is working in the second season.
In an exclusive interaction with Etime, Ankur spilled beans on his bond with the stars, shooting in the middle of a pandemic, and season 2 of the web show.
Quote:
‘Aarya’ completed a one-year release recently …
the show was very special to me; It has brought me so much love from the audience, and recognition as an actor.
It feels like time has flown so fast.
Just yesterday that we were filming for the show and now it’s been a year!
How do you describe Sushmita Sen as a star co? Well, he is a strong woman! He was equally warm and soft, and was very passionate about his work.
I have learned a lot of things from him on the ‘Aarya’ set and we really have formed a beautiful bond.
He is more than a family now.
Every lesson you have learned from it? I have learned some things from him.
He has such positive energy, it’s contagious.
Its humble nature, is also very interesting.
It’s nice to work with him.
How do you describe the shooting in the middle of a pandemic? Honestly, shooting in the middle of the pandemic is scary, and behind the mind, you are always alert with a deadly virus contract.
But we have taken all the precautions needed during shooting, and fortunately, everyone is safe and healthy.
What should be expected by the audience of ‘Aarya’ Season 2? ‘Aarya 2’ will reveal many interesting facts, which I want to surprise for attendees.
It will be an interesting show and will keep you on the edge, only what I can say for now.
You have worked with Aishwarya in ‘Sarbjit’, Shraddha in ‘Hasena Parkar’ and Sushmita in ‘Aarya’.
Who will you choose as a favorite shared star? That’s a difficult question; The three women have their own quality and charm and choose one favorite will be really unfair.
I have an extraordinary part of experience with all of them and all experiences have been very different from each other.
