Annaparan Idol given to rise, in the state of the state

Lucknow: Rare Idol Dewi Annapurna, which was taken by the Workers Government from Mackenzie Art Gallery at the University of Regina, Canada, in October was officially handed over to the government up on function in Delhi on Thursday.
Idols were lost from Varanasi more than a century ago.
Minister of Union Culture and Tourism G Kishhan Reddy handed over idols to increase the Minister of Suresh Rana in front of the IRANI Union Minister and Meenakshi Lekhi.
This event was followed by ‘Shobha Yatra’ or a procession that would conclude in Kashi on November 15, before winding through the country.
On Thursday, it was a short stopover at Mohan Mandir at Ghaziabad Temple and Dadrinagar Shiva in Noida while proceeding to Bulandshahr where he would go to Aligarh, Hathras and Kasganj, where Yatra would stop for the night.
On Friday, the procession will move through taking care, mainpuri, kannauj and kanpur, where else will stop at night.
On Saturday, (November 13), ‘Shobha Yatra’ will pass Unnoo, Lucknow and Barabanki before staying overnight in Ayodhya.
Idol will reach Varanasi on November 14 through Sultanpur, Pratapgarh and Jaunpur.
Ancient idols will be installed in Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the middle of Vedic’s singing on November 15, which happens to be Devotthhan Ekadashi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the return of idol from Canada, attending an agreement with the Canadian government during the Mann Ki Baat session last year.
The Chairperson of the Yogi Adityanath Minister recently thanked PM for relentless efforts to preserve the nation’s cultural heritage.
During his visit to Lucknow on November 3, Union Minister Kishhan Reddy said as many as 42 idols and antiques had been returned to India by different countries during the reign of the minister of Modi.
