Ranchi: The Minister of Education and Education of Jagannath Mahto on Monday convinced the teachers, who had agitated for their regularization and wages for years, that the state would apply the Bihar model to regularize them.
The minister’s statement came after he held a meeting with senior government officials about this issue.
Mahto said that all other problems raised by the teachers would be resolved through discussion.
Mahto said that the government would try to resolve the rules and make announcements in this case on December 29, which marked the commemoration of the two state governments.
“The government will submit draft rules to representatives of the teachers and hold discussions with them after Chhaat Puja.
The teachers here have objected to one clause in the Bihar model which states that their services fail the assessment test will be stopped.
We will resolve this problem Through discussion, “he said.
In accordance with the BIHAR model, the teachers of trained teachers are suspected of getting a salary from Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 per month with provisions for Provident funds and annual improvements and untrained teachers up to 17,000.
In Jharkhand, the teachers of the teachers rose between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000 per month.
There are around 65,000 teachers who work in different schools throughout the state and they have demanded their regularization, among others, since 2004.
Meanwhile, teachers have planned to gather in Ranchi from all states on November 14, The day before the state day, to suppress regularization and their wages.
One of their representatives, Sanjay Dubey, said, “We are awaiting government intimacy after meeting today.
If we do not get responses from them, our action plan will be announced on November 13.”
