Guwahati: Governor Assam and Chancellor of State University, Jagdish Mukhi, have asked the University of Gautati (GU) to submit a weekly schedule of lecture classes of each faculty member, who feared the teacher will erode the authority given to the Chancellor’s representative.

“In our knowledge, in almost 75 years of GU history, class monitoring has never been done by the governor.
