Annur Dalit Case: Man Who Records Videos ordered

Coimbatore: Police Annur has registered a case against people who have not been identified, who recorded a video that showed Panchayat Ottarpalayam employees belonging to the caste community scheduled for prostration before a Hindu man, on charges of creating hostilities between two communities.
The dispute between K Gopalamy and Assistant Village P Muthusamy took place in KurukalaImpalayam in Ottarpalayam on August 6.
Videos that showed Muthusamy prostrated before Golsamy went to the next day.
Police Annur enrolled a case against Gopalsamy based on complaints from village administration officers V Kalaiselvi under the section of the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes (prevention of atrocitas) ACT, 1989 and IPC.
Immediately after, Gopalsamy went into hiding.
Another video that appeared on August 14 showed Muthusamy slapped Gopalsamy in front of Kalaiselvi.
The incident was said to have lasted a few minutes before he prostrated before Gopalsamy.
Following this, Muthusamy was ordered by the police.
After farmers in the region launched an action that was looking for protests against Muthusamy and Kalaiselvi, the district government put them under suspension on August 17.
On August 20, income income officials seeking action against people who recorded videos and released it in several parts to make communal accidents.
The police recorded a case below section 153a (1) (b) (carrying out any action that discompasses the maintenance of harmony, language, or group or caste or regional community, and which is disturbing or the possibility of disrupting public tranquility) IPC without giving anyone’s name .
“Village administration officers and village assistants have submitted false information before the investigation committee was founded by collectors,” said a representative.
