Kolkata: SWAPAN MISTRI, a 57-year-old Baguiati resident who was treated at a private hospital from their bypass a few days ago by dengue, as claimed by family members, died on Tuesday morning.
This is the second case of bloody death in the area of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation (BMC) this year.
BMC Board Administrator Pranay Roy members went to visit families in their homes in the Baguiati Saha Para area on Tuesday night.
“Did he die because the dengue fever has not been confirmed because we haven’t seen the certificate of death so far but family members say that he suffered from dengue fever.
We took all the precautions, including cleaning the area, spraying Larvisida and fogging,” said Roy.
It was on November 8 Saha Satabdi 33 years old, a resident of Ashwininagar Baguiati, died of dengue shock syndrome in Baguati, who was under BMC.
Some wards here have become bloody spots of bloody.
Areas in Baguiati, Ktopur, Pregnant, Raghunathpur, Tegheraria and Kaikhali always tend to bleed.
Some bloody deaths have been reported here since 2016.

The cases of dengue fever in the BMC area have been very low last year and until early September this year, only 10 cases were reported throughout the BMC region.
The number of cases began to jump from October 1, with around 137 cases of dengue fever reported in October alone.
More than 100 new cases have been reported in November.
At present, the number of cases of dengue fever in the BMC area stands around 290 to date.
With a surge in the number in the Dengue case, BMC has formed six fast action teams consisting of citizenship officials, health and maintenance workers.
These teams inspect the area and do anti-fever and covid drives.
“We found stagnant water and mosquito larvaes in several households.
We warned the household to keep the place clean.
If the mosquito larva is found for the second time in the same house, the bulletin board will be prepared to say that mosquito larvae have been found from the house and The right steps will be taken, “said a BMC official.
