Another Mumbai Theatre Hallway bites the dust

The pandemic has hit companies hard along with the entertainment business has had to endure the brunt of it.
Another South Mumbai theatre hall will soon give way to your mall.
Dreamland Cinema, located in Grant Road, is moving under redevelopment.
The person who owns the cinema Yunus Supariwala, once contacted, advises,”It will redevelopment plus a mall is going to be built but there’ll be a little theater which will keep viewing of movies”.
Supariwala had shot over Dreamland Cinema 35 decades back.
“After I took on the cinema hall,’Tezaab’ was the very first movie which was screened there also and it conducted for 50 months.
The previous movie that played was Tiger Shroff’s’Baaghi 3′,” he stocks emotionally.
Dreamland Cinema was among the very prominent theaters in Mumbai for movie releases throughout the’70s,’80s, and’90s.
Movies such as Shah Rukh Khan’s’Baazigar’,’ Jaya Prada’s’Sargam’, along with Madhuri Dixit’s’Tezaab’ were all screened therein.
A movie critic, that had been frequent the hallway, includes,”This theater produced Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh Khan, along with Jaya Pradha into celebrities as most of these movies ran for many months and attracted an audience from all over the primary town of Mumbai.
‘Bhuvan Shome’, among the very first art movies, was screened at a matinee series here”.
Dreamland Cinema was initially known as Krishna and also the previous movie to be screened in the theatre has been Sunil Dutt and Nutan’s’Milan’.
It had been together with Ramesh Sippy’s’Andaz’ the theatre was called Dreamland Cinema.
A Few of the theatres that have closed down lately are Capitol, Apsara, Strand, Opera House, Diana, Shalimar, Ganga Jamuna, Alishaan, Edward, and Ajanta.
