Lucknow: The day after retired IPS Amitabh Thakur officers were arrested for congratulating suicide, other fired fired against him because of the attack and deter public servants.
His wife said Thakur, a lawyer, also ordered.
Fir has been registered at the Gomtinagar Police Station by Sub-Inspector of Dhananjay Singh.
Singh stated that on August 27, he along with the sub-supervisor Atul Srivastava, Hussain Abbas, Vivek Chaudhary, Vandana Pandey, Kirti Yadav and Concents Anil Yadav and Yadav reached Thakur’s house to oppose it.
“Amitabh Thakur said he was a former senior officer and threatened to ruin our career and refused to be arrested,” Singh said in Fir.
“I told Sho Gomtinagar, who came with two policemen and once again tried to catch retirees but once again he threatened us with terrible consequences.
Whether he and his wife attacked us,” said Sub-Inspector the complainant also said that Thakur and his wife created Obstruction during the disposal of the function of the police team where he and other police were also injured.
FIR also mentioned that the glasses of Sho Gomtinagar KK Tiwari, Constable Dhananjay Singh’s Whistle and the plate name broke and a band in the uniform also got torn during the attack.
A pine has been registered against Thakur and his wife based on charges of obstructing public servants in carrying public functions, attacks or criminal pances to prevent public servants because of their duties, among others.
