LUCKNOW: A married Muslim guy in Azamgarh, posing as the officer at the crime division of UP authorities, was detained on Sunday underneath the anti-conversion law to get raping three Hindu girls into marriage by hiding his spiritual identity.
Investigations revealed he had seven children by his first marriage to a Muslim girl in Azamgarh.
Lodging an FIR using the Indiranagar authorities, the complainant alleged that the accused,” Abid Hawari, that presented as a police officer Aditya Singh, sexually manipulated her and extorted Rs 16 lakh by her.
She accused him of realizing lease from her own tenants.
Abid was reserved under the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act, 2021, and additionally charged with rape, and extortion, remarrying throughout the life of spouse, criminal intimidation, also Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.
He had been arrested from his home at Sushant Golf City.
The complainant advised the authorities that Abid first met her at 2015 while he was trying to find a house on lease.
He introduced himself Aditya Singh in the crime division of UP authorities.

A few weeks later, Aditya showed his identity as Abid Hawari and requested her to marry him according to his spiritual customs.

Afterwards, she didn’t understand out of her acquaintances who Abid had married a second girl in Arjunganj about February 21.
Sources privy to the research stated he’d compelled another girl into union and authorities were interrogating him to get additional information.
“After I moved into Abid’s home in Azamgarh, I came to understand he was married into a Muslim girl who’s living and has seven kids,” she explained.
“I chose to snap ties but Abid began harassing me.
He realized rent in my renters,” she explained.
ADCP, North Zone, Prachi Singh stated that although minding the uniform, the accused not simply fleeced girls but also conducted extortion rackets.
“We’ve detained him will question him to discover the facts of his criminal past,” she explained.
