Anti-Ragging Drive Launched by Police in Educational Institutions

Kanpur: Even though the investigation in connection with the Ragging Incident allegedly at Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) has not produced any results, the commissional police have advanced and launched the initiative to prevent ragging in city education institutions.
Kanpur Nagar police coming has launched a campaign, “Rag Nahi Swag-Milkar Karenge Kair End”.
This campaign will be run with the name #ragahiswag.
To remember, an incident of Ragging which was allegedly happened in HBTI on Saturday.
The sleuth of the local intelligence unit (Liu) has also arrived on campus and collects input.
Meanwhile, the Komitisaria city police considered that the alleged incident of Ragging in HBTU had launched a poster with an interesting slogan.
“Change your nature, be a junior brother and girl.
At ragged, press 112 for police assistance!” The police also suggested seniors to help juniors in the way they felt like that at home.
“Go and show them, drink hot tea with a junior and enjoy healthy talks,” said such a poster.

Police Commissioner Asim Kumar Arun said, “Ragging tradition must be completely abolished.
