Anti-religious conversion bill on the foundation

Bengaluru: The state government on Tuesday said it was considering more carrying anti-religious conversion bills to stop the conversion of forced religion in the state.
However, no time frame given for when the bill will be submitted.
The debate of the conversion of forced religion was raised by BJP MLA GooSihati Shekar who talked about how his mother was “ordered” by a particular church to remove all images from gods and goddesses at their homes and sticks to a particular path of religious beliefs.
“My mother went to church after there was a lot of publicity given in our hometown from people recovered from disease.
When he returned, after visiting the church, he opened all gods and goddesses, and even changed his cellphone ringtone with the gospel.
When we asked him to stay away from this preacher and sermon, he began to claim that his health might worsen and even die.
Actions have been ashamed of the family and even forced to withdraw from our traditional Poojas Hinduism in our temples, “he complained, quoting that there were a number of other people in the Hosadurga’s own constituency.
He said churches were targeting especially those from the backward area and ice hail from SC and the people of Starily attracting them with the benefits of the church.
“If someone objects such as such actions, they are inserted with a false case from atrocities against the SC / ST community, or even worse, the accusation of rape,” he was suspected Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri is more forced by religious conversion.
“In our territory, they even convert Muslims apart from the class of Hinduism,” said Bopaiiah.
JD (s) MLA Devanand Fulsing Chavan even claimed that a large number of 50,000 strong Lambani communities in The Vijayapura district has been targeted by Christian missionaries.
However, the MLA Congress KJ George said the general statement like all the churches were involved in forced conversion or foisting atrocities and cases of invalid rape.
“Let the legislator say a certain church involved in action,” he said.
The Mlaas, however, said they had nothing to those who seca Ra voluntarily uses the right to convert to certain religions but forced interventions like Tions need to be examined.
“This debate forced conversion has occurred over the past few decades.
I urged the government to bring anti-conversion laws as they have applied in the North Indian state, “Kageri said.
Responding to this, the Minister of Home Affairs Arga Jnanendra said he had also heard from the action and that the government followed the incident.
“We have held talks to bring law to end to lure people or forced conversions from other religions to Christianity or other religions.
This is a big threat in the state and we intend to end for it,” Jnanendra said in a specific example of the mother Shekar, he said the police would be asked to be more alert in this matter.
