Antiques told Krishnagiri District

Krishnagiri: Archaeologists have explored ancient materials such as metal swords, ax heads, legged jars, spearheads, potted pots, and two other unknown objects from the site in Mayilabarai in the district.
A senior archaeologist said they had started excavation activities in Mayilabarai to identify the culture of Megalith and Neolithic peoples.
“We explored a certain place after removing the fortress of 3.88 meters.
We saw objects at a depth of 1.42 meters.
The team digs five terracotta pots, two copper materials 1.5 cm wide, two iron swords, ax head, and the spearhead .
Archaeologists collect objects and send them to Chennai for Lab tests.
