ROME: Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte has declared his contract annually early only days after directing them for their first Serie A title in 11 decades, the team said on Wednesday. Conte, who joined Inter at May 2019, consented to leave after Italian press reported he was abandoned unhappy with strategies to decrease investment and reduce costs as a result of fiscal effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. “FC Internazionale Milano may confirm that an arrangement was achieved with Antonio Conte for its conclusion of his contract with mutual consent,” read a club statement. “The team would like to thank Antonio to its extraordinary work he has achieved, culminating in Inter’s 19th top-flight name.
