WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated in a meeting with outside affairs minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Friday their two nations have been united in handling the Covid-19 outbreak together.
Jaishankar, who’s spent the last week in the USA seeking help to cope with India’s coronavirus catastrophe, told reporters while standing by Blinken in the State Department India was thankful to the US government for powerful support and solidarity.

(Reuters)Blinken stated from the first days of Covid-19, India was there to the US, a thing that the nation”will not forget”.
“Today we need to be certain we are there with and for India,” he explained.
“We have a whole lot of problems to talk.
I believe our relationships have grown stronger over the last few years and I am very convinced that it will keep doing so.
I need to convey our gratitude to this government and US for solid support and solidarity in the present time of amazing issue to people,” Jaishankar informed reporters at the State Department.
Blinken said that the US and India are working collectively on several critical hurdles of”our time”.
“We’re united in facing Covid-19 collectively,” he explained.
“The partnership between the usa and India is very important, powerful, and I believe it’s more successful,” Blinken additional.
