The deceased, Rakesh was more, hospitalized by the government managed when he suffered from tuberculosis which was disseminated on February 8.
He died on Sunday afternoon.
“The hospital authority called us around 3pm on Sunday and told us about Rakesh’s death.
When our relatives went to the hospital ward there was no ant on his body, but at 4:30 p.m., when our family members reached the ward to receive The body, they found that there were ants all over his body, “Aunt from the deceased claimed.
He alleged that the ant was in the eyes of the deceased and also throughout his body.
“When my daughter-in-law told about ants to the nurse, he told him to move the body from the ward because there were other patients who claimed there.
We insisted they cleanse the body but they did not pay attention,” he thought.
.
Dr.
Shakira Sawaskar, Dean who inaugurated the hospital, said the investigation had been ordered.
“This patient was hospitalized since February 8 will move the body,” he said.
Dr.
Sawaskar also said that the body could shift to the morgue but because the mandatory form to move the body to a corpse hospital was not signed by relatives of patients, the body remained in the neighborhood until 6pm.
“At 6 pm, family members told us that because some relatives would come from Pune, they would have a body the next day and then the body was transferred to the hospital hospital,” he added.
“It was the fact that there were ants, but according to nurses in the hospital, they did not crawl on the patient’s body but they were in his bed,” said Dr.
Sawaskar.
However, the lead dean also said that there is a possibility of ants can be in the body of the patient because it is stored in the hospital ward for a long time.
“The patient was given milk through a pipe eating, so it was possible that the milk drops fell here and there in bed and it might have pulled ants.
Also, ants could be on the hospital ward because patients eat their food and the rest is generally scattered in all over, “said the lead Dean.
“I will order questions about this incident.
We will ensure that in 30 minutes after any patient’s death, the body shifts to the morgue,” he added.
