It was 20 years ago when two young dreamers gave Hindi cinema one of his biggest music hit, ‘Tum Bin’.
Romantic film marks a successful debut from the film writer-director Anubhav Sinha and producer Bhushan Kumar.
The film not only marked the director’s debut and producer but also launched four fresh faces, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Raqesh Bapat and Himanshu Malik.
The music film broke the record instantly.
Music film compiled by Nikhil-Vinay and written by faiaz Anwar not only becomes an instant hits later but also the top playlist today like ‘Koi Fariyad’ sung by Jagjit Singh or the title of the song sung by KS Chithra.
Talking about completing two decades in the Hindi film industry, Anubhav Sinha said, “It was early 2000 at 3 am I was recording a music video for the T-series when Bhushan called.
He just saw another video that I had conveyed in the afternoon.

After ‘Tum bin’, Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha continue to work on joint films such as ‘Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai’, ‘Tum Bin 2’ to Tahikan recently ‘Thappad’.
They will work again in ‘Anek’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Hansal Mehta director starring Zahanan Kapoor and Aditya Rawal.
Duo even worked together for music marketing director Anubhav like ‘Dus’, ‘cash’, and ‘ra.one’.
